There is a bit of a catch, and that's getting there and back.
But if you've got a bit more time, and are prepared to fork out a bit more to fly to Bandar Seri Begawan, enjoy a few days in Brunei, before taking a couple of short hops by Ferry to Kota Kinabalu in northern Borneo. Then spend a few days relaxing by the South China Sea before flying down to Kuching for a week in a brand new hotel, then it's all worth it.
