I never noticed on tuesday night what part Neil had in Lincoln's goal, but having just watched the goals on Virgin i have to say what a soft halfhearted attempt of a challange it was on the guy that scored

Totally agree with you, i think Neil has played very well in the last 2 games, but his lack of putting a challenge in undid all the good work he had put in previously on tuesday night.

Actually looked like a tricky winger for the first time in my eyes on Tuesday and played well along with most of the team. All the hard work went down the pan with a sloppy goal!

Still, things are looking up. :D How many games have we drew 1-1 this season? Must be nearly half the games I have seen!

I posted a question the other day asking how many times have we surrended a lead and how many points have we lost.

I posted after the Brentford game that, for me, Wainy was Man Of The Match and to be honest, that comment applies to Tuesdays Lincoln game as well.

Neil has received his fair share of undue criticism this season (even as early as pre-season) but for me on Tuesday, again, he was magnificent. Ok, a lack of a challenge resulted in Lincolns equaliser, but on the whole he was top.

Get some sock ties though Wainy !! You look like a scruffy(er) Kenny Lowe with your socks drooping like that !!! Our younger fans won't remember Kenny ...... 1 game for us then lummoxed across the Bay to that other lot.

concur

In any event, the angle from the TV camera is deceptive - he was some way away from being able to put in a tackle. At the time, and again on the world highlights, I thought the shot was saveable. Whatever, it was a bad goal to concede and two points dropped.

.....other than the cross field pass which lead to their goal, it was yet another excellent performance from NW yesterday. He's now playing with the confidence that Sammy probably always knew he had.

Well done NW.

I have to agree with you C C, i used to feel sorry for Neil, i got the impression he didnt want anyone to pass the ball to him in case he messed up, his confidence must have been at rock bottom, but i think it was when we played Darlington i noticed a change in him and since then he looks like a different player. Well done Neil.
