In tonights Lancashire Evening Post Sammy is still hoping to sign Mark Duffy and a couple of others in the "window".

I wonder when this article was writen?

According to Sammy as late as last night he said on Radio Lancs that he'd been told by the Vice Chairaman that the embargo would still be in place and that no additions to the squad would happen.

The same article then suggests that Matty Blinks would be in contention for a first team place. Strange, as he was having an x-ray for a possible broken toe but even if it proved negative there was a lot of swelling that would preclude him from selection.

This tuesday coming up? Will we be able to sign him even if its out of the transfew window or is it meaning last Tuesday?
