'Fortunate.....'

'Fortunate.....'

Quotes from today:

'We were fortunate today'
Couldn't have complained if it had been 2-1 to the visitors'
'Football can be cruel'
'We were outplayed in the first half'

All the above are quotes from either the Bradford Manager or Bradford supporters on Radio Leeds tonight following the game in which I came away feeling shell shocked but far from disheartened.

Normally loosing 4-0 brings on a feeling of the blues. But today we totally dominated the game for 60 minutes and only looked to have lost the game when their 2nd went in. Can't really complain about our play except that there was no end product!

1st goal had a hint of hand ball
2nd All credit to the scorer who had the confidence in a 1 on 1 situation
3rd A speculative shot that seemed to have been misjudged by BR
and the 4th a dubious penalty from where we sat.

My and others only concern was the amount of possession we had with too elaborate football when a shot on goal could have produced a better reward.

Shooting practise please Sammy!

I'll never have a go at a player who has a go.....

A day to forget, but we'll play a lot worse and get a result.

Hey...... at least we never threw the towel in; always looking to get back into the game.

Oh well....it's Lincoln at home on Saturday. 3 points will do nicely...

Absolute bollocks!

How could we have been 2-1 down in the first half.
You only had one kicked off the line near half time.

If that's what our management team have said then nothing changes.
Every time we play a team our management compliment them.
It's what they do and I wish they'd stop doing it.

You had more possession but did nowt with it.
You had a 15 minute spell at the start of the 2nd half and did nothing.
We bulldozed you in the 2nd half after that and you hadn't an answer to it.

Don't say you were unfortunate because you weren't.
It's like when we were 2-0 down to Accrington with 10 minutes to go and we blitzed them and scored 3 goals.

Their manager said his team didn't deserve to loose.
Of couse they did, they let 3 goals in.
You let 4 in and lost.

Get over it, you were beaten by a team that lets the other team dominate and we do them on the break.
Every game we've played in recently the other team have had double the corners we get and more of the possession, it means nowt if the other team can't score.

Get over yourselves. 1-0, then fair enough, but how can anyone be unlucky when they lost 4-0? :o

I'll tell you what Macca never told the media.
Half the team have been down with a virus this week and we've played 2 games in 4 days and got 4 points.
Perhaps we did excellently considering we have an injury hit squad and the ones playing were ill.
Conlon apparently has been really ill.

How does that fat lump of lard Conlon get away with all the fouls and pushing that he does ?

The ref missed a blatant handball for the first goal and Boulding looked offside for the second.

I'd love somebody like Conlon with us. The guy is a an all action, get stuck in type of forward who gives no quarter and expects non in return.

Certainly roughed up Jimbo and McStay...and that takes some doing.

Don't know how he gets away with the fouls you think he's guilty of.
Couldn't see a hand ball as I was at the other end of the stand.
Boulding was clearly on side as I was level with the defence, he ran across the back line and out paced them, I saw that one.

Congratulations in winning your cup final 4-0. I'm glad we're thought off that highly.
