WOW didn't expect to see this U-Turn :o Now we have some closure on this sorry episode we can reward the logic by turning out in force and seeing as though the admission is less than I expected to pay i'll top it up by stumping up on 4 open the box tickets, so the club have won all ends up by doing this.

See you all on Tuesday night! ;)

Are you going to keep your gold bond subscription thingy now? :P

Brilliant news :!: Great decision by our board & both clubs. It's made my day :D

Really looking forward to this now :!: I'll get the neighbours along.

Just got back from a day out with the family and found out about the price reduction.

All I can say is a very big thank you to the Board.

Now let's move on and get behind the lads on Tuesday.

EXCELLENT

Great decision.

Cheers to both clubs.

I would do my arse kissing but my wife got very drunk around at my parents and is now vomiting quite regularly......

Swindon? Another occasion too if my memory serves me correct?

Still, massive game and I am glad the club has seen sence. I was going to go whatever, but now I will try and blag a friend or two...

Come on Morecambe!!

We are extremely lucky to have some of the people on the board (of directors) that we do, but good as they are they have no control over the weather. This is another match and should be priced accordingly. Why is reducing prices common sense? With the current weather a lot of people won't go anyway. This is not good. Generous yes, but not good. I sincerely hope the comments by some didn't affect this decision at all. I also hope we get the sort of crowd we deserve even more because of the prices, but don't forget-a lot who went on Saturday will not, for one reason or another, be able to go on Tuesday.

Another point that is being over loooked is the prize money on offer for getting into he next round, £30,000. Surely we have a greater chance of this with club an supporters united behind the side? Whatever your reasons for prolonging this debate lets drop it now and look forward to tomorrows game.

So is Geoff Boycott turning up or not? My dad wants his autograph.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Is it a U-turn? Early on Saturday evening I overhead someone saying that it would be Tuesday and half price.

WELL DONE MFC. I was one of the many staying away Tuesday night, more in protest with the damage to the club's image rather than the cost, bad PR to a club our size can take years to repair. I have a cousin down South who e-mailed me saying what a set of scrooges must be running the club, that's the type of reaction we can do without. All credit to those involved with the price reduction, that's more like the MFC we know and love. PS - To those on here that think negative postings on Shrimpsvoices influenced the board, i don't think so, it was the reaction on a national level, including papers and radio.

Possibly - or it may have been that they always wanted to do something like this - thought they couldn't, had a few conversations, came to agreements and then decided they could.
