I'm thick and I know I am but.....

Postby Christies Child » Mon Nov 17, 2008 5:04 pm

....can somebody explain to me exactly what this quote from Mark Wright means?

'I think we need people who are prepared to run the other way like Rene Howe of Morecambe.....'

No doubt it makes perfect sence to the majority of SVs but when have I ever been in the majority?

It can only mean one thing really I suppose - that he [Mark Wright] considers Rene is prepared to come back and defend when needed ?

Ohhh Marky ..Marky .. Why oh why did you have to mention the C word ? 'Creasing' the curse of the programme collector. I should have perhaps gone through the 'crease free carrying' procedure when we last met. But here goes :

1] Take your everday pillow case [any colour will do].

2] Line said pillow case with cotton wool.

3] On purchasing programmes place carefully in lined pillowcase avoiding any 'curling' of pages and fold excess pillow case over.

4] place the programmes on the floor and enjoy Morecambe's 2nd away win of the season.

5] Don't forget the programmes and place them on the back seat of the car.

NB. In case it rains I always carry a plastic bag for extra protection.

You'll be OK Mark I've every confidence in you , if you have any queries or questions don't hesitate to ask !!!!!!!!!!!

Well I normally use the pillowcase to cover my ears for a bit of peace on the journey down and I take a bin bag with me anyway to put over her head so thats sorted then

Maybe take an iron with me just in case ;)
