Credit where it's due, you've got good taste,
A HMHB fan, and Absolutely ( one of my fave programmes of the late eighties)
Denzil and Gwynedd, the old 'bugger' who lived in the caravan, stoneybridge, and the guy who lived alone who managed to get the Jehovahs witnesses to buy the Honda 50cc manual after he bought a watchtower, CLASSIC STUFF, see it's just been released as a complete box set on DVD, 15 - 20 years late but well done.

Calum Gilhooly was my favourite.

After Absolutely finished, Jack Docherty (who played McGlashan) later had the embarrassment of attending a televised annual TV awards show to watch the 'best comedy performer' award (for which he'd been nominated) go to ....... Graham Norton..... for his performance as temporary 'guest' presenter on ... the Jack Docherty show!

As Graham goes up to collect his trophy, camera pans to Docherty who forces a grimace and is rarely heard of again.
