Yep, I agree Loyalsupporter, it's not rusted, it's galvanised. Hammerite Smooth's the stuff!

Why does everyone want to cover up the beautiful zinc carbonate 'spangles'?

Why have the barriers rusted already anyway. Who wants rust all over their shirt especially by mid season :roll:

IF they have, it sounds to me as though they haven't been galvanized. If that is the case I would have thought painting them with the suitable primer and suitable paint would be OK.

Look at CC trying to look like he knows what he's talking about.

I'm willing to make Stanley-esque banners and hang them from the barriers if need be.

The barriers are rusting through where some divie used an angle grinder on the galvanised surface. :roll:

I agree with the other bloke :?

This is not one for fans to partake in (UNLESS they are professional time served ex tradesmen in painting)
It might have been acceptable to bring out the Geranium red paint pots at a crumbling Christie park where the odd over spill hit the concrete and wasn't an issue but at a new stadium I think not.

Do the job properly or leave well alone! :|
