Fleetwood v Wimbledon

just watching this match and my first view of their new grandstand.

IMHO it is not a patch on ours in design and it does not cover the length of the pitch which is a minus point.

Lets give our club a lot of credit as the main stand of a stadium is so important in that the other 3 stands can always be built on or extended but the main stand has the lions share of a budget and it is important that this is done right.

yes , but competition for players we want to sign from a "money no limits" chairman like Pilley wouldn't be good for us.

If they don't go up maybe we could sign George Donnelly from them. :D :D

finished 2 - nil to the Dons. crowd just over 4,000.

Chorley won promotion back to the NPL premier division tonight and they had just under 3,000 on Victory Park as they beat AFC Fylde 2 - nil

Pleased for Chorley, but a tad disappointed for AFC Fylde and Lewis Edge.

Kelham O'Hanlon, the Fylde manager, was on Radio Lancs this morning saying he wasn't happy about the final being played at Chorley (those were the League rules though) and that it should have been played at the County HQ in Leyland.

Thought the Fleetwood match was supposed to be live on Radio Lancs tonight, but I couldn't find it in the car on FM or AM. :(
