Best "XI NOT PLAYING FOR MORECAMBE" but playing somewhere...

How is this for a team who have played for Morecambe at some point in their career, and are still playing somewhere -

1. Joe Lewis - fringe England keeper when he left us
2. Adam Yates - Vale
3. Ryan McGivern - good attacking wing back on loan from Man.City for a month or two a few years ago
4. Dave Artell - Moose
5. Chris Blackburn - was Aldershot now Wrexham ?!
6. Mark Duffy - Iron
7. Tommo - Iron
8. Perks - Colchester
9. Carl Baker - Coventry
10. Rene Howe - Bristol Rovers/P'Boro - mercenary, boo-boy & scorer of a few good goals for us
11. Wayne Curtis/Michael Twiss/Diarmuid O'Carroll/Aaron Taylor etc etc

Subs -
Jalal - just for his comedy kicking !!
Also, any of the above not playing at no.11

Manager -
Jim Harvey or John Coleman  nah, Leighton James - only 6 months, but what a player in his day & turned out for us once too !!

I think that team might hold it's own, although the number 11 spot may need some tweaking. ;)

No room in your team for Craig Stanley?

So how did that work out then?

Was reading through the team and thinking it was a good choice. I suddenly spurted out my orange juice when I saw Aaron a**hole Taylor!

You didn't say "'ex-Morecambe players", you said...

I noticed Henry McStay has turned up at Bradford Park Avenue in the Evo Stik Premier (scored against Kendal last week too).
