Will be interesting to see how we line up defensively on Saturday, one of two options I think.

Capaldi will not be involved in any case.

If this means we have to use other MFC players, such as Jimbo and calling back Stanners from on loan, then I'm looking forward to these changes.

the left-back postion people seem to be forgetting K Charnock is left footed am surprised Sammy never just went like for like when Wilson came off injured in the last game

and plus he wont be as expensive out wide than in a central position with his wreckless decision making at times

Did Sammy not mention that Charnock is carrying a knock to his left ankle in that clip? Could be hearing things.

Kieran is a doubt for the weekend yes. Flemo and Willo both out.

For me, this means either Pazza switching to left back, or perhaps a back three of Pazza, Macca and Kieran/Jimbo, with maybe Gaz H and Hursty as wingbacks.

Have had a good feeling about this one for a few weeks now. Hope i'm right. Sammy always seems to do better with Morecambe when are down to the bare bones. Perhaps everyone is more focused. Which wouldn't be hard after the season we're having! The folly of Stanners on loan is there for all to see though, now. Really should be back and Haining in the team too.
