Just wanted to congratulate him on todays performance. He grew into the game and made a world class save which i honestly couldnt believe he saved. Also the penalty save.

Well done Joe, if your needed next match I hope you carry that kind of form on! :)

Totally agree. He was great after a shaky start with a couple he parried away, but overall thought he was an able deputy for Barry the Great :)

I actually put this on another thread but totally agree.

Very confident second half from a keeper that was once wanted by a Prem club - Bolton ?

Joe Anyon was my MOTM today, there was very few players that stood out for us today, but Joe made some fantastic saves and was very unfortunate to concede the goal...ESPICALLY SINCE IT WAS OFFSIDE!!!

Good luck to Joe. I think I must have missed this somewhere:

"Anyon has been in impressive form at Morecambe, saving a penalty, winning a man of the match award and being named in the league's team of the week during his four games for the Shrimps."

I don't think Joe could have started much worse with the goal at Bury and he was woeful first half against Bradford. However he went on to have a great second half and played well since to the extent you would have him back (often difficult getting your confidence back but like Barry has succeeded.

Drop Barry though? You must be joking.
