Undersoil Heating

Why didn't we get it in our new stadium? It's ridiculous. It would have cost about £10,000, which I am sure we could afford!

Wondered how long it would take for this topic to come up. Get in the real world.

It is the running costs. No way should lower leagues get it as they can't afford it and it is unnecessary money.

Get your hands in your pockets and cough the yearly bill up.

your figure would equate to about four days running costs
its not even a premier league requirement believe it or not
its a luxury most cant afford including other sports clubs such as St Helens RL and their new stadium which is being built
Blackpool are going to install it at the end of this season because of recent posponements and the fact they now have the cash to do it
health and safety has a lot to do withthese postponements these days
back in the 80s a lot of these games would have been played imho.......

Yes, maybe I was underestimating the overall costs!

I think fleetwood town had it installed at the end of last season at a cost of about £150k! But they have a wealthy chairman who owns everything and wants league football. And it embarrasses BPFC down the road! :D

Wrong.

They bought a very expensive set of ground covers which they in then hired out to Blackpool.....at a fee, which contributed to the cost!

Don't know if you were at the fans meeting last night but Rod Taylor answered your question, I think he was upset that he didn't get the chance to meet you.
