Ralying call for support v Torquay United.

Postby Peckishparrish13 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 7:42 pm

Hey guys,
I am calling a rallying call to get as many home supporters as possible to make it to the Torquay United game on 15th January with flags, horns, rattlers etc. I am making this call as for most the season our home support has been outdown by the away teams supportes, where as last season you could practically never hear the away team unless we where losing, which was fantastic! We need to get it back to that way and if we can i think we could begin to make the Globe in to a fortress just like Christie was. Would be good if we can change our atmosphere in the MBW to just like the North Stand at Christie, and we shouldn't get outdone by a team probably bringing 100-200 fans from the coast! Please dont paste abuse on here, just comments on whether you will be coming down or what your going to do to change the atmosphere in our stand.
Cheers!

200? They wish. They don't even get that at home.

If he'll chant loudly and that money you spend is a beer to get you chanting then that great!

Fair play for issuing a rallying cry mate & when things pick up on the pitch at the Globe, then I am sure things will pick up on the terraces. It just seems to be a general feeling of apathy at the ground, probably because we had such an amazing season last season, but also because it is taking us all a lot longer than we thought to get used to the Globe. It's no just the ground, but the pre-match, the parking and the location have all changed and IMO a lot of folks are taking a long time to adjust.

Cummon you Shrimps for Shrewsbury away!!!

Well you should be enjoying this season as we are doing a lot of losing at home which should mean extra noise
